Colina Del Sol Court Grand Re-Opening with Bill Walton

The Hoopbus heads to San Diego to join in the Grand Re-opening of the Colina Del Sol basketball court, the childhood home court to the legendary Bill Walton. Bill shared his memories of his coach “Rocky” and falling in love with basketball. A Grateful Dead band played and Bill jumped in and rocked out. After sunset “The No East Buckets” tournament ended the evening with the local community taking home the trophy.

The court was in collaboration with Project Backboard and Up-Lift Our Community.
