INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA - The Hoopbus, a non-profit organization which travels the country in a renovated school bus building community through basketball, is proud to announce its 5th annual NBA All-Star Weekend Celebration -
Show Indy Love.
This year's event will take place in Indianapolis, Indiana from February 12th to February 18th, 2024
During the course of the week, Hoopbus will sponsor the installation of basketball goals at two local schools that currently have no courts, host free basketball assemblies for five Title I schools, promote a series of elite open runs in Salt Lake community centers, and combine the talent of basketball influencers and local players in a 3x3 community basketball tournament. The festivities will culminate in a celebrity dunk show free to attend judged by a celebrity guest.
The Hoopbus organization is dedicated to promoting the sport of basketball and encouraging children and young adults to experience community connection through the power of sport. The mission of the Show Love series is to provide grassroots benefits to small and at-times overlooked communities in the midst of larger professional basketball events.
