#ItsHerShotLA with Dicks Sporting Goods and Nike Los Angeles

November 13th & 14th we joined Dicks Sporting Goods and Nike Los Angeles for a beautiful sunny weekend in Venice Beach to empowering young girls to hoop.

We had WNBA player Monique Billings join us in sharing in smiles and cheering on our free-throws contest on the bus, as girls won Nike swag for making it in the basket. The day was filled with legends like Lisa Leslie and influencers sharing in their passion and giving tips and tricks for the game.

Saturday had the first ever Basketball Beauties league VS Women’s Drew. With Women’s Drew taking the lead, it was awesome to watch to two most known women’s leagues of Los Angeles come together to inspire the upcoming youth in a friendly game of competition.

It wouldn’t be LA without bringing out some influencers, Brittney Elena, Jenna Bandy, and Keke Sevillian shared their creative passions for basketball and gave their tips to these young ladies.

With skills clinic classes taught by Nike athletes, LaSandra Dixon and Heather Sutherland these young ladies got an action packed day that is sure to inspire them in continuing the game of basketball.
